Futuristic, Elegant and Stylish Smeg Cooking

This new oven range designed by Marc Newson is a lesson in contemporary, minimalist aesthetics that would make a fashionable and functional addition to any kitchen. Smeg’s ultra-modern FP610 oven is ideal for busy cooks, as its pyrolitic function can heat the cavity up to such a degree that grease and charred food simply fall away, making this an oven that cleans itself. With a maximum capacity of 68 litres it can house the entire Sunday roast and consumes 20 per cent less energy than average A-rated appliances. Easy to use, the FP610 has a large, intuitive LCD display, showing cooking
temperature and timers.
To accompany the oven you have a choice of either a gas or induction hob. The impressive looking Marc Newson gas hob has five imposing cast iron burners, all specially designed to ensure that all of the heat from the flame is directed at your pots and pans. No escaping heat means energy savings and faster cooking times.

Alternatively, the induction hob boasts up to 4.6KW of electric-powered cooking. This is faster than gas cooking and the controls offer precise temperature control with a booster button if you’re in a real hurry. Stylish and easy to clean, induction hobs use magnetic fields, heating the contents of your pan, not the top of the hob. This means the hob is extremely energy efficient, as it only heats the exact diameter of your pan–remove the pan and the power is cut.

Smeg has also included a locking feature to prevent children from accidentally turning on the burners. The whole Marc Newson range comes in a choice of colours–from the striking blue above to statement yellow and soft green hues, to the more traditional stainless steel and elegant black and white glass–that will add a splash of vibrancy to any kitchen. Mixing cutting-edge technology, energy saving features and Smeg’s flair for statement design, they’re a modern kitchen essential.
