Technology doesn’t always have to opposed with nature conservation. Not like many invented technologies, this robot are meant to conserve the nature by planting seed.
Shaped like a dog, it’s mobile enough to move with four legs and plant the seed using the extended arms in various places.
This machine designed by Anna Karin Bergkvist is small and tread so that it could minimize damage to the surrounding small ecosystem in the process of planting the new seed.
To ensure the survival of the new plant seed, the robot is featured with hot steam pressure to kill any competing vegetation around the new seed, it allows animals to get close to the new planted seed and most of all the new seed is protected with biodegradable capsule providing nutrition and protection allowing the seed to grow big enough to survive.
It’s capacity is to carry 320 seedlings. This robot uses eco-friendly fuels such as wood chips and animal pellet.
By providing trailer consisting materials required by the robot for a refill such as seeds, fuel and water we can actually planned a designed landscape for the robot to actualize it in the given areas, for it also has a cpu built within.
