Environmentally Friendly Greener Viewing LED TV, Philips’ Econova

Every industries are taking parts in making pollution to this planet so in turn it is now become their concern and responsibility to reduce the pollution level while still running the industries. One of the company that take it to concern is Philip by producing the Philips’ Econova, Europe’s greenest TV. 


Consuming just 40W in ecomode and being declared European Green TV 2010-2011 by EISA. The commitment to eco-friendliness doesn’t end with the LED lighting and Zero Power switch, which cuts power off completely rather than putting it to standby. 








 



The remote control is actually powered by a solar panel. 

The Econova is built from easily recycled materials and is even packaged without polystyrene or plastic. The ingenious mount can be used both as a stand and as a wall mounting, saving materials and preventing waste. As you’d expect from Philips the Econova, the 42inch LED-lit LCD is still a great looking telly, with stunning, smooth, produces high-contrast images courtesy of  Pixel Precise HD Engine processing, 100Hz motion smoothing and HD Natural Motion screen technologies.
